There’s a growing demand for security guards in Central Australia. When something happens, businesses and communities count on guards to be first-on-scene. They’re a big part of protecting people and property in towns like Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.

Grow the industry workforce by over 5%

Fill current roles & support future growth

Growing up in the UK, I never for one moment thought I would one day work in Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory, but I'm so glad that I did, as it has been an amazing experience.

My favourite aspect of the job is that it is how every day's different and I never know who I'll meet next. The Management staff are very friendly and helpful and there's also plenty of shifts so you can build up the bank very quickly.

We are committed to providing our clients – from local businesses to government-run hospitals – with security services that protect their property and people.

But more than helping the economy and public sector, we want to help drive real change and foster safer communities.

How do we do this?

Focus on conflict resolution

A good guard always tries to talk down trouble, rather than use physical force.

Guide future generations

We work alongside police & youth services to deal with young offenders fairly, but firmly.

Work alongside First Nations People

Our consortium members employ Indigenous Liaison Officers to deal with their own mob in a culturally appropriate way.

Helping out our local community

As locals ourselves, we encourage new staff to lay down roots in their community, gaining the trust and respect of their neighbours.

In 2018, I relocated to Central Australia. During my four years at Ayiparinya Aboriginal Hostel as a security officer with Talice, I gained valuable insights into the culture of Aboriginal people, the First Nations of Australia. From my experience, familiarity with Aboriginal culture enhances the enjoyment of working in Central Australia. Living and working in Central Australia is great for those who appreciate natural beauty, cultural diversity, and a slower pace of life.
